On Friday, September 26th, 2008, everyone is invited to help raise awareness for families who are experiencing homelessness in Washoe County. Participants spend a night in a cardboard box and confront the experience of being without a home for a night.

For one night Wingfield Park will be home to Cardboard Box City, a one-night event to raise money and awareness for Family Promise, a support agency in Reno, Nevada that allows homeless families to stay together.
