New Day Center!
On July 26th volunteers from the Family Promise Board and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints came together to move the Family Promise Day Center into its new, permanent location. Through generous contributions from the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, an anonymous donor, and many other faithful contributors to Family Promise, we are finally able to see our dreams of owning a permanent Day Center site become a reality. Thank you to EVERYONE who made this move possible!!
Candidate Forum
On September 10th the community is invited to ask candidates running for positions on the City Council in both Reno and Sparks, and Washoe County Commission about their positions on affordable housing and homelessness in our community. Allan Fuller Piano Concert
Please join us on November 6th, 2008 at 7:00 PM for the Allan Fuller Piano Concert benefitting Family Promise of Reno/Sparks. The concert will be held at the First United Methodist Church on the corner of 1st and West Streets in downtown Reno.
